DVD Design

Creating custom designs for DVD cases and labels is what helps a product stand out on a shelf and gives it a physical identity. From blockbusters to free handouts, DVD cases are the first impression that a person will have. This page contains some examples of DVD design that I have done recently. I am working to simplify my design process and look forward to doing more in the future.

Ballycastle Angling Club

The Ballycastle Angling Club was looking for a basic site that could be used as an information point for their members and affiliates. The site would display information relative to the club and what it wished to promote. Only a few basic photos were commissioned, and were not considered an integral part of the site. It would also host the rules of the club and details for new members to contact or join the club. The site was based on wordpress so the family could easily update any of the information, and keep their visitors up to date with changes and events. The homepage displays an introductory paragraph about the farm, with a short video available just below...

Funky Chicken/Platzl Bar Posters

During my time in Sankt Anton am Arlberg I created several posters for two bars, the Funky Chicken and Platzl. These posters were done to promote events for the bar’s and to confirm the dates of several big annual parties. The posters turned out to be a big hit, with some people even wishing to collect them. They became synonymous with the big parties and good times that are a big part of life in Sankt Anton.

Irish Art Plus

Irish Art Plus is a small art gallery located in Ballymoney, County Antrim. They deal directly with most of their artists in order to keep prices low for the end customer. This is Version 2 of the Irish Art Plus website. Version 1 was created by myself in 2006, and had limited functionality beyond displaying the gallery’s art. Version 2 was to build upon the initial framework and enhance the features, including adding e-Commerce. The new site now contains several hundred pieces of art from over thirty well known and up and coming Irish...
