Skinny Love by Bon Iver

This is a film I created as a music video for the fantastic Skinny Love by Bon Iver. Seeing as they still don’t have an official video for this awesome song (which was released in 2009). It was shot in one day and edited in another. The location is Fairhead, the most north eastern part of Ireland. It was a particularly nice day and I wanted to make a “feel good” summer edit. So I took my Canon 550D out with no tripod as I wanted the film to have a distinctively handheld look, with plenty of lens flares and colourful light leak overlays. I used Magic Bullet Looks for the colour grading.

Even Ireland has it’s nice days. Welcome to the summer.
